This programme will be delivered over a 12-month period (September to September) and is aimed primarily at learners interested in acquiring a highly practical level 9 qualification in Digital Marketing practice and strategy.

As computers become smarter Artificial Intelligence (AI) is making strides in simulating human thinking. Creating computer systems that automatically improve with experience has many applications including robotic control, data mining, autonomous navigation, and bioinformatics.
This course provides a broad introduction to machine learning and statistical pattern recognition. Students will learn about both supervised and unsupervised learning as well as learning theory, reinforcement learning and control.
The aim of this programme is to provide an opportunity for computer professionals and engineers to enhance their knowledge and expertise in areas of current active research and development in software engineering. Participants gain exposure to the various techniques for performing academic research. The course also aims to provide an environment in which the participant is exposed to new technological developments, to ethical and social issues affecting the computer industry, and to the requirement to uphold general professional standards.

The key aims of research in the School of Art & Design are to provide learners with generic and specific research skills, to generate study at the highest level into the meaning, processes and effects of Art & Design; and to promote the public domain relevance of this work within cultural, social and economic contexts. You will be allotted one or more supervisors who guide and oversee your research work. You will submit a body of art/design work accompanied by a written report or thesis only (both modes of submission involve viva-voce examination), for the award of a research Degree.
