This pathway provides students with a
comprehensive grounding in business
alongside specialist knowledge of
psychology and its application to the
workplace. The role of psychology in
business and industry has long been
understood to increase productivity,
human development and employee
satisfaction. The psychology pathway
includes an additional focus on the
human mind and how individual
differences manifest within workforces.
This specialism contains four subjectspecific modules – two at Level 7
(Psychology; Social Psychology)
and two at Level 8 (Organisational
Psychology; Personality and Individual
Differences). The pathway provides
students with the platform to develop
skills and competencies in the areas
of psychological research, social
psychology, personality and work
psychology.
