Heritage Studies

The Heritage programmes are designed to equip students with the necessary skills, knowledge and experience to pursue a successful career in the heritage sector and academia. This learning experience is particularly appropriate for students wishing to acquire a broader knowledge and understanding of the built, cultural and natural heritage of Ireland, Europe and the wider world. The focus is applied and interdisciplinary in nature – linking heritage with history, geography, archaeology, tourism, genealogy, museum studies, folklore, literature, planning, computing, digital media, business and languages.
