Project and Construction Management

This is an interdisciplinary degree course that sets out to develop the technical, business, managerial and interpersonal skills needed to manage large, complex projects in industry and the public sector in areas such as construction, biopharmaceutics, technology and telecommunications. • Students of this degree course learn about managerial and accounting principles and human resource management and gain an insight into the concepts of financial management. Other areas of study include health and safety law, quality management and planning. • The Project Management Institute estimates that more than 15 million new project management related roles will be created globally across engineering industries by 2020.
