Tourism and Hospitality Operations

This programme is for students who want to work in the tourism industry. It is experiential in nature and combines practical classes, field trips and work experience all of which will equip a graduate to work in tourism and hospitality in Ireland and around the world. This programme focuses on the operational aspect of hospitality management. Students study subjects such as bar and restaurant operations, beverage management, rooms division management and culinary skills. In addition, students will acquire the digital skills required to work in the sector. They also study tourism and discipline specific subjects such as guiding and tourism destination development.
