Accounting and Finance
“This Accounting and Finance degree reflects the multiple requirements of today’s business and finance world, preparing students for a career in accounting, banking, stockbroking, currency trading, management, insurance or positions in the financial sector. Whether students want to change career, up-skill or are a school leaver, the BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance degree will provide them with the technological, analytical and managerial skills required for a dynamic and successful career.
This course is ideal for students who are interested in the application of numerical techniques and the interpretation and communication of financial information.
Students will explore the theoretical and practical application of accounting and finance systems, while also gaining a thorough grounding in business management and modern technologies.
Students will build fluency in the technical languages and practices of the financial and accounting sectors.
Once completed, students will have the necessary skills to pursue a dynamic rewarding career in accounting and/or finance.
Students can qualify for 9 ACCA exemptions, ACA CAP 1 exemptions and a number of CPA exemptions

Business Studies (Human Resource Management)
Our BA (Hons) in Business (HRM) is available on a full-time and part-time basis over a three-year period. Students studying for the award of BA (Hons) in Business (HRM) will find opportunities to apply the knowledge and skills that they have gained on the programme within a wide range of business sectors.
Students will benefit from a broad business introduction in years 1 and 2 while specialising in year 3.
Students will gain a national and international view of HRM across all fields of business, from developing a performance management system to negotiations within the workplace.

Business Studies (Marketing)
Our BA (Hons) in Business (Marketing) is available on a full, part-time and blended learning basis over a three-year period. The purpose of the programme is to inspire and nurture a student’s interest in the marketing discipline, while providing a solid foundation in business subjects.
Students will develop an understanding of marketing theory and frameworks to formulate robust marketing strategies in a global economy.
Students will get hands-on practical knowledge and experience through live case studies and client consultation.
Students will be taught the importance of digital marketing, branding, and social media tools in the context of the modern business environment.
Students will flex their selling, negotiating and sales management knowledge and the effect of current marketing trends and digital consumer behaviour.
Students will establish a solid understanding of sales management and how to build a long term sales plan with consumers.
In years 1 and 2, students will receive a grounding in core business areas like finance, management, HRM, and business law, perfectly positioning them to be a dynamic team player.
Communications and Media Production
Communications is a fast-paced and, in today’s technology-driven environment, growing industry that offers a huge variety of job roles. Griffith’s BA (Hons) in Communications and Media Production is a full-time, three-year programme that aims to give students a foundation in an array of communications platforms including social and digital media, photography, radio, investigative journalism, TV and video. The course is heavily project-based and the introduction of specialised streams in Years 2 and 3 allows learners to influence the path their studies take them down depending on where their interests lie. In this course students will:
Develop practical skills through work on traditional media (newspaper, TV and radio) and new media (digital, social media and mobile journalism).
Gain a solid understanding of media theory, media communication and media production.
Contribute to the college newspaper, radio station and digital portal.

Design Communications
Fashion Design
Our BA (Hons) in Fashion Design is a three-year level 8 degree course available on a full-time basis. The course will immerse you in all aspects of the fashion industry and prepare you for any role that requires both a creative flair and a technical and business knowledge.
Through our Fashion Design and Garment Construction modules, students develop practical skills and explore a personal design philosophy.
Our syllabus offers training in the most up-to-date 3D CAD pattern and manufacturing (CAM) technology, complemented with business and professional practice knowledge.
Students create a fashion collection, exploring their personal design direction from idea generation, design development and pattern creation through to garment construction using contemporary production techniques.
Our programme reflects the changes taking place in the fashion industry, recognising that traditional manufacturing bases have been relocated to low-cost economics.
Students learn to think creatively when faced with design challenges, adapt to industry changes, and develop the key skills required to liaise with offshore production facilities.

Interior Architecture
This degree programme has been designed in response to an increased demand for employees with specific skills relating to Interior Architecture including spatial planning, design detailing, technologies, problem-solving and visualisation techniques and presentation skills. The course takes students through the fundamentals of visual culture, building science and design principles and equips them with practical studio skills.
Students are required to take part in in-depth research, apply knowledge of building technology and regulations, organise and manage project solutions, and communicate their designs using digital design programmes. Graduates of this programme leave with extensive experience in creating, analysing and interpreting project briefs. They will be able to problem-solve complex design issues and work independently and in groups to find solutions.
