Our partnered BA (Hons) in Music Production is available on a full-time basis over a three-year period and taught on campus at Pulse College. The aim of the course is to equip you with a high level of competence in specific skills for the areas of studio recording, live sound, music technology and much more.

Sport, Excerise with Enterprise
The course will deliver graduates who have developed knowledge of sustainability and how sport and enterprise activities need to meet the needs of organisations and its stakeholders today while protecting, sustaining and enhancing the human and natural resources that will be needed in the future.
During this Honours Degree course students will study various contemporary issues relating to sports and physical activity, address problems with cultural and environmental sensitivity. Students will also learn through practical experience and will follow a step by step process-based approach whereby they develop new venture ideas into blue prints for business plans.
Youth Work
The BA (Honours) in Youth Work provides a one year add on for graduates of the BA in Youth Work. This Honours Degree course will facilitate the education of community youth work practitioners capable of critical analysis of policy/practice structures which shape professional activities. Upon successful completion students will have a BA (Honours) in Youth Work and a professionally endorsed youth work qualification. (NSETS)
in Mathematics and Data Science
Data Analytics is identified, both nationally and internationally, as a key future skill and the demand for Data Scientists, Data Analysts and highly numerate graduates continue to grow alongside the massive amounts of available data. The course is well suited to numerate students who are looking to develop a more applied, industry-focussed skillset than offered by traditional mathematics courses.
The course takes an integrative approach, focusing on first building strong foundational knowledge in the areas of Mathematics, Statistics and Programming, and later facilitating the synthesis of knowledge and practice from high-tech areas within the data and computing domains. The primary aim is to develop specialist knowledge in aspects of data required to become highly-skilled sought-after Data Analysts:
Fundamental and Advanced Statistics techniques
Applied Probability
Data Visualisation techniques that bring the data to life
Time Series Analysis to investigate copious amounts of time data and trends
Machine Learning, the fast-paced and popular technique that is big data-driven.
These skills will be built alongside essential programming capability and Systems knowledge: Programming in R & Python, Data/Big Data and Distributed Data Systems, while developing strong mathematical reasoning and in-depth understanding in areas of Computational Mathematics and Mathematical Analysis: Logic, Number Theory, Linear Algebra, Calculus and Mathematical Modelling.
Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Civil Engineering
Civil engineering is about protecting, creating and improving our everyday environment. It involves the planning, design and construction of facilities that we require for living, for industry and for transport. Roads, bridges, harbours, buildings, railway, airports, water supply, drainage, wastewater treatment systems, dams, flood management and sustainable energy schemes such as wind farms, ocean energy or hydroelectric stations. Infrastructure on which civilization depends upon to function now and into the future.
Civil Engineers manage and design projects of all scales, from single houses to multi-storey buildings, from group water schemes to major bridges and roads. They work as individuals and as part of teams.
Engineering Entrepreneurship
This honours degree in Engineering Entrepreneurship is multidisciplinary course, combining Engineering with Business.
The aim of the course is to produce graduates who are not only competent in the core engineering skills, but who also have a mind-set capable of recognising and pursuing business opportunities. The course is ideal for Level 7 graduates, with a broad engineering background who want to develop entrepreneurial, problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Central to the course is the New Venture Development module where students are required to develop an idea in terms of its technical and business aspects.
Film & Television Production
Delivered by highly respected professionals, using industry standard equipment, this four year honours degree is practically based, designed specifically to prepare you for the workplace and to advance your skills to the highest level. The course is over 60% practical and allows students to specialise in areas such as TV Studio Production, Documentary Film Production and Drama Production for Film and Television. It also includes an industry work placement in Year 3. Over 90% of our students are in work or further study after graduating
Food Production (add-on)
Graduates of this course will have skills in food analysis, packaging, processing, agrifood biotechnology, waste management, food chain integrity, lean manufacturing and agri-food product development, enabling them to contribute to the cost-effective development, production and marketing of products in the Agri-Food Industry
